Dr. Jean Pierre Candido is a specialist in general and vascular surgery from the Paris Faculty. Born in France in 1955, he studied throughout in his home city of Paris — a world leader in vascular surgery. He is also a member of the Société Française de Chirurgie Vasculaire, with which he maintains ongoing contact for technical and therapeutic updates, despite having relocated to Turin in January 1989. He is currently Head of the General and Vascular Surgery Department at the Clinica Sedes Sapientiae in Turin. During specialist consultations, he personally performs Eco-Doppler examinations. He treats all venous, arterial, and circulatory conditions (varicose veins, angiomas, capillaries, rosacea, phlebitis, thrombosis, ulcers, lymphatic disease, etc.). He performs procedures under all types of anesthesia, including local anesthesia for minimally invasive day surgery (closure, ASVAL, laser), and in recent years has used the ‘biological glue’ technique, which resolves varicose vein disease without anesthesia and with immediate recovery.
